West African Drum Class

    Learn West African rhythms
    Learn how to play a tone, slap, and bass
    Learn how to put “hand patterns” together creating multi-layered rhythms
    All levels welcome  $5 per class

    Tuesday night African drum class is held weekly 7.15 – 9 pm at Deaf Hall, 232A Armagh St, near the corner of Armagh and Madras Streets in Christchurch.   map is here

We also have an intermediate drum class on Monday nights, 8 – 10 pm at Club Havana.

In order to come to the Monday night intermediate drum class, attend 5 or more Tuesday night drum classes and bring a drum to play on.

Hi dude!!! i really enyojed last night, I was a bit shy and accidentally i sitted close to you, that made me feel even more shy because everybody was looking at you all the time!!hehehe!!
It´s a shame leaving christchurch on 17th November, but I will work hard at your classes to improve my drumming skills!!!thanks a lot for the mali djembe, it sounds more than great!!see you tonight then!!
